Painted from direct observation outside the Rotunda entrance of Ohio Stadium. The scene captures the flow of spectators and the anticipation before kickoff. The original painting required five months to complete.

Meet the Artist

Jeff Joseph!

For my entire career as a fine artist, I have specialized in painting subjects that revolve around sports. I spend a lot of time on location obtaining my references, especially when I am painting a sports stadium. Then, I pencil sketch the design and work with oil paints to finish the original.

EBLC & PILLOVV

PILLOVV is a social enterprise founded by Sarah Hallock, a graduate of The Ohio State University (Fisher ’24, EHE ’24) and a member of the President’s Buckeye Accelerator Cohort II. PILLOVV curates and creates custom textiles for hotels featuring the work of local artists.

From the earliest stages, the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic has been an invaluable partner in PILLOVV’s formation and growth. The clinic helped establish a strong legal foundation for the company, making it possible to bring the vision of PILLOVV to life.
